Yang 
A letter to Hillary Davis, 10/22/05

You are sweet, caring for the happiness of others as you do.

When I said my Yang is coming back, what is ‘yang’ for me?
It is being forthright and 'radically honest' when needed,
Free to express wrath or love while I roar my truth. 
And stand up for it, and understand it; and be energetic,
To get creative and innovative in looking at, or solving, probs,
And not take life sitting down; game up to the challenges,
Beat Ted at ping-pong!  That’s a yang thing no?

Yang is creative, yang is masculine without being macho, 
Yang without the hyper-masculine, can shoulder great loads
Yet walk without trampling the fragility of flowers ...

Now I can be yang, a full a united creative expression of Being,
Then Yin again, as I become the flute God's breath blows through,
But Yang again, as I AM God’s Breath blowing through it.

... how very interesting all of this, eh?
